Wallin stops Perkovic in Oldenburg

Otto Wallin (9-0, 7 KOs) improved to 9-0 with a dominant display against Ivica Perkovic (20-26, 15 KOs) tonight in Oldenburg, Germany. The Swedish heavyweight proved too much his Croatian opponent, who retired following the fourth-round of a scheduled eight.

‘’Perkovic was a tricky opponent,'' said Wallin. ‘’He is an experienced guy. He was in survival mode. It was difficult to get him to the head so I had to work the body. I had some success and that’s what forced him to quit after the fourth-round.

‘’It’s been a great year for me. I’ve had five fights, five wins and four stoppages. I’m really happy with my progress. I’ve got a great set up in Copenhagen and a great team around me. I’m only going to better and better.’’
