The Nielsen brothers visit the Royal Danish Military Academy

Today Patrick and Micki Nielsen paid a special visit to the Royal Danish Military Academy. The brothers took time out of their busy training schedule to watch the Academy’s cadets take part in a boxing training session.

The cadets were put through their paces by former boxer Thomas Damgaard while Patrick and Micki looked on and offered their advice.

Said Patrick Nielsen: ‘’I was really impressed with level of boxing here. Some of the cadets could walk right into the ring as amateur boxers. I have a lot of respect for what these guys are training to do so I was pleased to be able to come here and give them a little advice.’’

Both Nielsen brothers are in action this Saturday at the Nordic Fight Night in Albertslund. Patrick will face Tony Jeter for the WBC Silver Middleweight World Championship, while Micki will get his shot at the WBC Youth Cruiserweight World title. Tickets are available at http://www.billetnet.dk.
