Nielsen: I cannot underestimate Bajzath

Micki Nielsen (14-0, 11 KOs) will face Tamas Bajzath (10-11-1, 5 KOs) at the Nordic Fight Night on September 13 at TAP1 in Copenhagen. Nielsen is undefeated in his career as a professional, and even though his Hungarian opponent cannot present the same impressive resume the 21 year-old cruiserweight is not taking anything for granted.

"You must never underestimate your opponent. Anyone can deliver a lucky punch. Anyone can have a bad day at the office. But I'm not going to have a bad day. I will work hard and get the win.

“To believe that something will be easy can be very dangerous in boxing,” says Nielsen ahead of his showdown with Bajzath in Copenhagen.

During the summer, the young fighter has kept busy sparring Team Sauerland stable mate Otto Wallin.

"I'm in really good shape. Now it’s all about preparing for the fight,’’ says Nielsen. ''My trainer Joey Gamache will analyse my opponent, he reads and watches everything about him, and I trust that he will make a good plan for fight night."

The WBC Youth World Champion last boxed in June claiming a third-round stoppage against Igor Pylypenko in Moscow. "I’m looking forward to being back in Copenhagen - close to my hometown of Albertslund. It will be a party, and my fans rarely say no to a good party,” says Nielsen.

The Nordic Fight Night on September 13 will be shown live on TV3 Sport 2 and TV3 +. Tickets are available via http://www.billetnet.dk.
