Micki Nielsen meets the Bulgarian Tyson in Brondby

Micki Nielsen (19-0, 13 KOs) will face a tough challenge on December 12 when he meets the hard-hitting Bulgarian ‘Koko Tyson’ Konstantin Semerdjiev (33-16-2, 20 KOs) at the Brondby Hallen in Copenhagen.

The cruiserweight contest takes place on the undercard of the domestic mega-fight between Patrick Nielsen and Rudy Markussen, where younger brother Micki aims to secure the first family victory of the night.

‘’It’s going to be an exciting night,’’ says Nielsen. ‘’Many people will be coming to see my brother Patrick fight Rudy Markussen, but I’m also looking forward to getting in the ring again!’’

The 22 year-old, who returns following the fourth-round knockout of Alejandro Valori in September, holds no fear over his opponent’s power punching credentials and is promising another impressive performance in Brondby.

‘’I’m not worried about Semerdjiev’s power. I’ve faced big hitting boxers before,’’ said Nielsen. ‘’I plan on delivering my own bombs and giving the fans some entertainment before the main event.

‘’I was pleased with my performance against Valori. It was a tough fight with a lot of heavy blows, but I never felt like I was in trouble. My conditioning was good and so was my timing. I expect both to be even better on December 12.’’

Also on the undercard at the Brondby Hallen is Danish featherweight Dennis Ceylan (16-0-1, 7 KOs) who will now face Colombian veteran Walter Estrada (46-18-1, 30 KOs) following the withdrawal Marc Vidal.

Ondt Blod: Patrick Nielsen vs. Rudy Markussen will be shown live and exclusive on Pay-Per-View in Denmark. For more information on how to order please visit http://www.boksekampen.dk.
