Ceylan vs. Vasilev

Rising super-featherweight Dennis Ceylan (5-0, 3 KOs) will fight Yordan Vasilev at the Nordic Fight Night in Aarhus on June 15.

The 29-year-old Bulgarian, a veteran of 43 fights, is no stranger to travelling. He has fought all over the world, including Germany, Sweden, Italy, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Finland and his home country Bulgaria. His record stands at 13 victories, 28 defeats and two draws.

“I really don´t care who my opponent is,” Ceylan said. “On my way to the top, I have to defeat everybody. I´ll continue with Vasilev.

“My training has gone very well. I am in top physical condition and the sparring has been great. I´ve sparred with Rashid Kassem and Reda Zam Zam, who will also fight at NRGi Arena, as well as top Danish amateur Frederik Jensen. I feel very sharp.

“I can´t wait to fight in front of my home fans in Aarhus.”

Said promoter Nisse Sauerland: “We will have 11 exciting and competitive fights on the card. We have proven champions, like Patrick Nielsen, who will have to be at his best to defend his WBA Intercontinental Title against Crispulo Javier Andino. We have local fighters such Dennis Ceylan, Reda Zam Zam and Torben Keller, exciting prospects like Micki Nielsen and Rashid Kassem, amongst others, and the biggest talents from Sweden and Norway. It will be a great night of boxing.”
