Ahlin faces former Skoglund opponent on December 13

Swedish talent Oscar Ahlin (10-0, 9 KOs) faces Pablo Sosa (3-3-3, 2 KOs) on December 13 at the Albertslund MusikTeatret in Copenhagen.

“This is a really good test for me, Sosa is a strong opponent and this fight will give me an indication of what level I‘m at,’’ said Ahlin.

“I usually knock my opponents out but this guy can really take a punch so it’s going to be interesting, maybe I’ll get a chance to try something new. But let’s see he how handles my power!”

Sosa has proved a tricky opponent for several top boxers. He went the distance with Ahlin’s countryman Erik Skoglund and former German Olympian Enrico Kölling, eventually losing to both on points. In his last fight, the Argentine held former European Champion Eduard Gutknecht to a draw.

“Styles makes fights so it’s difficult for me to say if I will do better than Skoglund or the others he has faced, but there’s no doubt that I can send a big message by beating him convincingly.”

The promising matchup in Albertslund is set for eight rounds. Ahlin is joined in action by Swedish stable mates Erik Skoglund, who faces former world champion Glen Johnson, and Anthony Yigit, who takes on Gianluca Ceglia.
